This was a t-shirt design for the Special Olympics that I loved. Unfortunately it didn’t go anywhere. But what if we took the edge off the label, “special” by reframing Special Olympics athletes as special edition human beings?

I had a really cool opportunity last year to participate in the first ever Special Olympics Colab. Designers worked together with real Special Olympics athletes and celebrity guests to design t-shirts to sell in the SO online store. Lot’s of good vibes were felt by all.
